1. Delete in the app
Open Settings > Account > Delete account (you may be asked to confirm with Apple or Google). Your progress, ranking, nickname, purchase entitlements, coins, remaining paid hints and undos, friends and friend code, challenge history, game records synced to the server, tournament entries and push token are permanently deleted, and online games in progress are ended. Payments to the App Store or Google Play are not refunded.
2. Request on the web (no app needed)
You can request deletion without installing the app. Email dhalska2@gmail.com with the subject "Checkers Data Deletion", naming the app (Checkers, com.osj.checkers) and the developer (Next Studio). Tell us how you signed in (Apple, Google or anonymous) and the details below. We confirm by reply and delete the Checkers data on our server within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
3. How we verify who you are
If you signed in, send the request from the email address of that Apple or Google account, or tell us that address. For an anonymous account, give details only the account holder can see in the app (nickname, friend code, country and rating). We never ask for passwords, one-time codes or card numbers. If we cannot match the request to an account, we will reply and ask for more details.
4. What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted: everything listed under "Delete in the app", including purchase records linked to your account. Kept: only an unlinked refund marker (a SHA-256 hash of a Google purchase token and a timestamp, with no link to any user, name or email) so that refunded purchases cannot be granted again. Your sign-in account may be shared with other Next Studio games; this request removes only Checkers data, so tell us in the email if you want the whole account removed.
5. Data on the device
Data stored on the device (such as local copies of game records) is removed when you uninstall the app (on iOS "Delete App", not "Offload App"). The nickname and moves sent to another device during nearby play may remain on that device and we cannot delete them.
