CHECKERSTerms of Service
Effective / Updated: October 17, 2026
1. Service
Checkers offers computer play, two players on one device, live and async online play, friend codes and challenges, tournaments, rankings, nearby play over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, 13 rule variants, puzzles, daily missions and game analysis. The Premium subscription removes ads and daily limits and includes all skins and unlimited hints and undos. The Premium subscription is offered on iOS only.
2. Purchases and subscriptions
Payments are made through the store: Apple on iOS and Google Play on Android. On iOS, Premium subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings. Android offers one-time purchases only and no subscriptions. Refunds follow the policies of Apple or Google Play, and an item that was refunded or cancelled may be taken back. Coins and items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged. On iOS the Apple Standard EULA also applies.
3. Fair play and conduct
Do not use engines or other outside help in online games, insult, harass or impersonate others, choose offensive nicknames, or disrupt the servers. We may hide nicknames, end games or restrict online play for players who break these rules.
4. Nearby play
Nearby play connects two devices directly over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Only play with people you trust. Your nickname and avatar are shown on the other device and, while you host, to nearby devices. The other player chooses their own nickname and nearby play has no report or block function, so leave the game if something is inappropriate. Range and connection stability are not guaranteed. Nearby games do not count toward rating, stats, missions or rewards, are untimed, and finished games are saved in your game records.
5. Variants, analysis and editing features
Rule variants, house rules, the board editor, PDN import and export and game analysis are provided for fun and study. Variants may differ from official tournament rules and analysis may be imperfect. Import only game records you have the right to use. House rules apply only in offline games.
6. Changes and liability
The service is provided as is. Features may change or end, and these terms may be updated on this page.
