1. Scope
These terms govern your use of Next Studio's iOS app "Janggi: Human-like AI & Online" (the "App"). On iOS, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies; on Android, the Google Play Terms of Service apply.
2. The service
The App offers AI games, online play, a tutorial, mate puzzles, game review and coach summaries. Online features and AI coach summaries depend on servers and third-party services and may be interrupted for maintenance or outages. AI analysis and summaries are for guidance and are not always accurate. Rankings and rewards of the weekly arena, monthly seasons and daily missions are calculated and granted automatically by rules set on the server.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Janggi Premium (monthly and yearly subscriptions, lifetime) and ticket packs, ad removal and the theme pack are paid through Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings. Refunds follow Apple's policy. Tickets are kept on your account and one is used each time. On Android these are paid through Google Play, renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play before the period ends, and can be managed in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions; refunds follow Google Play's policy.
4. Conduct
Do not insult other players, use hateful, sexual or advertising nicknames, manipulate ratings with cheating tools, multiple accounts or intentional losses, or disrupt the service. Violations may lead to a nickname reset, limits on online features or account suspension. If you repeatedly abandon timed games, timed games and the arena are paused for a while.
5. Content and rights
The App, its design, AI, puzzles and text belong to Next Studio. You may use the records of your own games freely; with AI training sharing on, you allow anonymised records to be used to improve the AI.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the App is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect losses from service interruptions or data loss. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply.
