1. I don't know the rules. Can I still start?
Open the Learn tab > Learn janggi. The 14-step tutorial lets you move the pieces yourself, from how each piece moves to check, mate and bikjang.
2. How do I choose the AI's strength?
Tap "Play the AI" and pick from 18 kyu to 9 dan. The app remembers your last side, setups and level.
3. How do bikjang and points work?
If the two generals face each other through a full move, the game is decided on remaining material (chariot 13, cannon 7, horse 5, elephant 3, guard 3, soldier 2, plus 1.5 for Han). You can make it a draw in Settings.
4. What are the online time controls?
Realtime games are 15 minutes plus byo-yomi 3 × 30 seconds. Free players can run 3 correspondence games at once; Premium has no limit.
5. How do I restore purchases?
Tap "Restore purchases" at the bottom of the shop. Cancel a subscription in App Store account settings > Subscriptions.
6. How do I move to another device?
Sign in with Apple in Settings to continue your rating, achievements, records, settings and unfinished AI game on another device.
7. Something is wrong
