BADUKTerms of Use
Effective date: October 18, 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern your use of Next Studio's iOS and Android app "Baduk" (the "App"). Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to the iOS version.
2. The service
The App offers AI games, problems, lessons, classic games, joseki and online play. Online features depend on servers and third-party services and may be interrupted for maintenance or outages. AI moves, hints and estimates are for guidance and are not always accurate. Free daily uses, rewards and rankings are calculated and granted by rules on the server.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Baduk Pro subscriptions renew until canceled; lifetime, hint/undo packs and board themes are one-time purchases. Android uses Google Play and iOS uses Apple billing. Manage subscriptions and request refunds through the store used for purchase. Hints and undos are held on the game account and spent on use. Deleting app data does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions on Android, or App Store account settings > Subscriptions on iOS.
4. Conduct
Do not insult other players, use hateful, sexual or advertising nicknames, manipulate ratings with cheating tools, multiple accounts or intentional losses, or disrupt the service. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive players. Players can report or block others in a game; reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and violations lead to a nickname reset, limits on online features or account suspension.
5. Content and rights
The App, its design, problems, lessons and text belong to Next Studio or are used from public-domain sources. You may use the records of your own games freely.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the App is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect losses from service interruptions or data loss. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply.
